Sleep Sweet Precious Angel

It is with much sadness that we advise that Princess Nicola passed away this morning.

She passed peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by friends and family who love her.

Fly free sweet Princess, may your angel wings guide you gently home.

I will never forget Nicola. I'm so shattered for you all. I am relieved, in a way that her pain has ended. But I'm bereft at the thought of yours now. Your entire family is in my heart right now Jo.

I am so sorry to hear this news. We hadn't spoken in awhile and something told me to come check out the blog. Words fail. It saddens me so much that you and your family have had to go through such a torment. If there is anything... at all... that I can do, please let me know.

Hello there. I first became aware of your daughter's plight many years ago from an article in the Sunday Mail. My sister and I were able to contribute to a fundraiser your family had organised at the time: if I recall correctly it was to travel to the USA for a specialist medical treatment/consultaion. Over the years I would, on occasion, wonder how things worked out for your family and especially Nicola which, after all this time, brings me to your blog today. It is with much sadness that I learn of the passing of your precious little girl - please accept my belated condolences. I hope you and your family find joy in the memories you have of your time - however brief - with little Nicola.

Rest in peace Nicola: the world is a more beautiful place for your having graced it with your presence.
